Rediscover the art of living through the knowledge and techniques of the Vedas.

Learn a simple and natural meditation technique. Practice the correct sequence of asanas and pranayama to best prepare your body for deep and effortless meditation (Rounding).

Vedic meditators will have the opportunity to further deepen their meditative practice with a personalized program.

By participating in this 4-day meditation retreat, we will give ourselves a break more rejuvenating than a holiday. This retreat is for Vedic meditators and those who wish to learn Vedic Meditation. During the retreat, not only will you enhance your meditative practice, but you will also positively transform your way of living and rediscover the present moment.

During this edition, we will embark on an introspective journey exploring how to trust the intelligence of life and take the path of least resistance to intentionally build a harmonious life. We will discover the true meaning of living without fear and how to integrate the insights of the Vedas into everyday life.

Participants in previous retreats have reported feeling rejuvenated and recharged as if they had spent two weeks on holiday, and the transformation experienced during the retreat has had a lasting effect on their lives. These extraordinary 4 days are equivalent to six months of regular meditation practice. At the end of your stay, you will leave feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and inspired to bring lasting improvements to your life.

The retreat will take place in the green hills of Monferrato. This region offers breathtaking views over endless vineyards, which produce some of Italy’s finest wines, such as Barbera and Moscato. The charming medieval villages scattered throughout the area feature well-preserved architecture, cobblestone streets, and lively town squares.

The venue hosting us is a former monastery that has been renovated into a residence. Check-in is on Monday, June 23 from 4:00 PM. Check-out is on Thursday, June 26, after lunch, from 2:00 PM onwards.

Spaces for this retreat are limited, so please confirm your participation as soon as possible.

Please note that no experience in yoga, breathing techniques, or meditation is required. Just come ready to embrace new experiences and with a curious mind.

What is Rounding?

Rounding is a cornerstone of the ancient Vedic tradition, deepening our Vedic Meditation practice. It's an enriching experience designed to prime your mind and body for profound meditation. There's no need for prior yoga experience, and the asanas (yoga postures) can be adapted to individual needs so that everyone can practice Rounding.

A "Round" consists of a specific sequence of relaxing activities:

  • 10 minutes of gentle asanas or stretches (accessible to everyone)

  • 5 minutes of straightforward easy breathing exercises

  • 20 minutes of Vedic Meditation

  • 10 minutes of lying down rest

During a Rounding retreat, we perform multiple sequences of Vedic Rounding throughout the day to relieve stress and rejuvenate the body.

Engaging in Rounding during the retreat equates to the stress relief of 6 months of twice-daily meditation practice.

WHY ATTEND A VEDIC MEDITATION RETREAT?

  • During this retreat, you will release the same amount of stress that you would have eliminated with six months of meditation practiced twice a day.

Every aspect of the retreat has been designed to optimize this process, from the practice of Vedic Rounding to the foods and drinks, all the way to the daily routine.

Gain a new perspective and relax deeply as you take a break from daily life to rejuvenate from within.

  • The practice of Rounding significantly enhances your ability to fully live in the present moment, allowing you to connect more deeply with life and be open to what it offers.

As layers of stress are removed, your state of consciousness expands.

Through an expanded consciousness, it's possible to reach a higher potential of creativity, the ability to enjoy life, and the ability to be present.

  • Enhance your practice with the guidance of an experienced teacher and personalized instructions.

You will have the opportunity to participate in knowledge sessions on how to get the most out of your meditative practice and live to your full potential.

Please note that if you wish to learn Vedic Meditation, you can learn this technique during the retreat or before the retreat.

  • Retreats offer a magnificent opportunity to connect with oneself, away from the distractions of daily life and family.

Furthermore, you will have the chance to deepen relationships within the meditation community and create new friendships with individuals who share a passion for meditation and personal growth.

Vision

In a world that's constantly on the move, even a single evening of relaxation can seem like an unparalleled luxury. Over time, Vedic Meditation brings our nervous system back into balance. However, it can take years to eliminate the stress accumulated throughout our lives.

The practice of Vedic Rounding acts like creating a sanctuary for your body. Rounding sets the stage for deep meditations and allows for a release of stress equivalent to six months of regular practice when performed in cycles with a Vedic Meditation teacher at a retreat.

The experience of freeing months of stress and restoring balance in mind and body is unlike anything you've ever encountered before.

As deeply rooted stress dissolves from your physiology, you will feel the world open up before you. By the end of the retreat, you will re-emerge rejuvenated and invigorated, overflowing with creativity and resilience. Ready to live life not just with joy, but also with a rediscovered sense of harmony that leaves no room for fear-generated thoughts.
