Vedic Meditation Retreat
19-22 giugno, Villa Mori, Chianni - Toscana, Italia
Awakening Your Potential Through the Science of Being
Four days of deep rest in the Tuscan countryside, inspired by Vedic wisdom, to restore mental clarity, awaken creative energy, and reconnect with a deeper sense of harmony in life.
Rediscover the Art of Living Through the Wisdom of the Vedas
Learn a simple and natural meditation technique rooted in the ancient Vedic tradition. You will also practice a carefully structured sequence of asana and pranayama designed to prepare the body and nervous system for deep, effortless meditation (Vedic Rounding).
For experienced Vedic meditators, the retreat offers the opportunity to deepen and refine their practice through a personalised meditation program and guided rounding sessions.
By participating in this four-day meditation retreat, we will give ourselves a pause that is deeper and more restorative than a typical vacation. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Tuscan countryside, we will have the opportunity to slow down, rest deeply, and reconnect with ourselves.
This retreat is open both to experienced Vedic meditators and to those who wish to learn Vedic Meditation. During these days you will not only deepen and stabilise your meditation practice, but also rediscover the richness of the present moment and open yourself to a more harmonious and conscious way of living.
During this edition we will embark on an introspective journey to explore how to trust the intelligence of life and follow the path of least resistance, learning how to intentionally create a life that is more fluid, balanced, and harmonious. Together we will explore the deeper meaning of living without fear and how to integrate the teachings of the Vedas into everyday life.
Participants in previous retreats often share that they feel deeply restored and re-energised, as if they had taken two weeks of vacation, and that the transformations experienced during the retreat have had lasting effects in their lives. These four days offer an intensive experience of mental and physical rest that can significantly accelerate the benefits of meditation practice.
Together we will use the technique of Vedic Meditation and the wisdom of the Vedas to dissolve the mental patterns that keep us trapped in cycles of stress and tension, and to cultivate new inner habits that support the growth and transformation we wish to bring into our lives.
At the end of the retreat you may find yourself feeling calmer, clearer, and deeply rejuvenated, with practical tools to bring greater harmony, creativity, and clarity into your daily life.

What is Rounding?
Rounding is part of the ancient Vedic tradition and expands the practice of Vedic Meditation. It is a gentle and enjoyable practice that prepares both the body and the mind for deep meditation.
There is no minimum amount of meditation experience required to begin exploring rounding as a way to deepen your Vedic Meditation practice. No prior yoga experience is necessary, and the asanas (yoga postures) can be adapted to suit each individual’s needs.
A “round” consists of a specific sequence of the following restorative activities:
• 10 minutes of gentle asanas (simple stretches that anyone can do)
• 5 minutes of easy breathing exercises
• 20 minutes of Vedic Meditation
• 10 minutes of rest lying down
During a rounding retreat, several rounds are practiced throughout the day to support deep stress release and the regeneration of the nervous system.
Practising rounding in a retreat setting can produce a level of stress release comparable to several months of regular twice-daily meditation practice.
Why Participate in a Vedic Meditation Retreat?
This retreat is an invitation to pause, rest deeply, and rediscover the natural balance that already exists within you.
-
During this retreat, the combination of Vedic Meditation and Rounding supports deep rest and the release of accumulated stress in the body.
Every aspect of the experience — from the daily practice to the nourishing food and the gentle rhythm of the retreat — is designed to support this natural process of restoration.
Step away from the demands of daily life, gain a renewed perspective, and allow your body and mind to regenerate from within.
-
The practice of Vedic Rounding enhances your ability to fully experience the present moment, helping you connect more deeply with life and remain open to its possibilities.
As layers of stress are released, your state of consciousness naturally expands.
From this expanded awareness arises greater creativity, a deeper enjoyment of life, and the ability to be fully present in each moment.
-
Deepen your practice with the guidance of an experienced teacher and personalised instruction.
Throughout the retreat, you will also have the opportunity to attend knowledge sessions exploring how to gain the greatest benefits from your meditation practice and live more fully from your potential.
Please note:
If you wish to learn Vedic Meditation, the technique can be learned either before the retreat or during the retreat itself -
Retreats offer a beautiful opportunity to reconnect with yourself, away from the distractions of daily life.
They also create space to deepen your connection with the meditation community and to form meaningful friendships with others who share a passion for meditation and inner growth.
Vision
In a world that moves faster every year, true rest has become rare. Even a quiet evening without distractions can feel like a luxury. Yet the human nervous system possesses a remarkable intelligence: when given the right conditions, it naturally knows how to return to balance.
The practice of Vedic Meditation allows the mind to settle into a state of deep rest while the body gradually releases accumulated stress. When the pace of daily life slows and this practice is experienced within the supportive environment of a retreat, the process of restoration can unfold more deeply and more rapidly.
At the heart of this retreat is the practice of Vedic Rounding, a gentle sequence of asana, pranayama, meditation, and rest. Practised in cycles throughout the day, rounding creates a protected space—almost like an inner sanctuary—where the body and mind can release deeper layers of tension and fatigue.
Surrounded by nature and guided practice, the nervous system is given the opportunity to reset itself and rediscover a more natural state of balance.
As layers of stress begin to dissolve, many people experience greater clarity, renewed creativity, and a deeper sense of vitality. Participants often describe this process as a profound regeneration, similar to the feeling of returning from weeks of true rest.
By the end of the retreat, you may notice a different quality of presence:
a calmer mind, a lighter body, and a renewed trust in the natural intelligence of life.
From this quieter and more stable inner space, it becomes easier to live with greater harmony, freedom, and joy.

Meet Corinna
Corinna Galliano is a recognised Vedic Meditation teacher and a passionate advocate for conscious living. She is also a lecturer at the University of Sydney Business School, where she teaches and conducts research in the fields of leadership, entrepreneurship, and conscious organisations.
After years of study and practice, Corinna was initiated into the Shankaracharya tradition through an intensive twelve-week teacher training immersion guided by Thom Knoles, with the recognition of Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri, one of the highest authorities of Vedic knowledge in India.
Corinna continues her studies with Thom Knoles, widely regarded as one of the leading authorities on Vedic knowledge in the West, and dedicates time each year to studying in India in order to maintain a living connection with this ancient tradition.
She received her PhD from the University of Sydney Business School in 2019.
One of the most profound transformations Corinna experienced through the practice of Vedic Meditation was the gradual and lasting dissolution of anxiety and negative thought patterns. For her, Vedic Meditation is not simply a tool for managing sensitivity or stress, but a practice that allowed her mind to transcend fear and mental agitation, revealing a deep and stable inner foundation.
Corinna brings together the depth of an ancient meditation tradition with the clarity of modern understanding, creating a space where people can experience profound rest, insight, and personal transformation.
